winter storage . . .
a can of nails
behind the old cross |

warm winter . . .
a noon drizzle
baptizes the church |

taking flight
the fish in the blue
heron's mouth |

| |
cloudy day-
a rain drop poses
on her lens |

after
the funeral-
trampled flowers |

|
Dustin Neal has been writing haiku for about one year. He
resides in a small town in East Texas where most of his scenery is of
the Piney Woods. He is currently majoring in English, though at this
time he is taking a semester off from school. He is currently
working as a custodian at a church.
